Who are the tutors?
Every tutor is employed by Brilliance, not a freelancer. Each one is interviewed, background-checked and trained before teaching, and is observed regularly by our academic team.
How are lessons delivered?
All Brilliance classes are currently held live 1-on-1 online in our interactive virtual classroom. Your child learns face-to-face with their dedicated tutor on the days and times that suit your family.
Are classes held online or in person?
We offer live one-to-one online classes only. All lessons take place in our online classroom so your child can learn from home with our teachers.
Can I choose my child's tutor?
Yes. During booking you can browse tutor profiles and shortlist your favourites, or let us match your child. You'll meet the tutor before lessons begin.
How does payment work?
You can submit your booking first and optionally fast-track your tutor matching by completing your first month's payment online by card or bank transfer. Each additional child taught by the same tutor gets 20% off.
What if the tutor isn't the right fit?
Tell us and we'll arrange a new tutor at no cost.
What's in a quarterly report?
Scores by topic against the curriculum, attendance, effort and confidence, plus a written note from the tutor with goals for the next quarter.
